Braziers International Film Festival

For the easiest route to Braziers, we recommend the X40 Oxford-Reading ‘River Rapids’ service, which runs every half hour or so from both Oxford and Reading town centres. Bus fare £3.

Travelling from London, the easiest option is to catch the GWR train from Paddington to Reading (journey time 23 mins.), or the Elizabeth Line to Reading (journey time 1 hour). Then take the X40 bus to Braziers Park Turn (bus journey time 30 mins).

Otherwise, the nearest train station to Braziers Park is Goring & Streatley, Oxfordshire (3.5 miles from Braziers Park).

We encourage travel via train and bus, but if flying the nearest airport is Heathrow. From there, you can either take the RailAir bus link Heathrow-Reading (coach journey time 45 mins), or catch the Elizabeth Line train, changing at Hayes & Harlington (journey time 1 hour) to Reading.

From Gatwick Airport, it is possible to catch a direct train to Reading (journey time 1hr 30 mins).

From Reading, catch the X40 River Rapids bus to Braziers Park Turn, as outlined above.
